Retirify Privacy Policy
Retirify is designed to answer life-changing questions without demanding life-changing amounts of data. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how to stay fully in control — including the disclosures required by the Apple App Store.

No account required
Use the calculator and simulator anonymously. Inputs stay in your browser or device storage unless you export or intentionally share them.
Transparent retention
We outline how long support tickets and shared exports stick around, and delete them on a fixed schedule without manual reminders.
Support-only contact data
Email addresses and screenshots are collected only when you contact support. They are retained for up to 12 months to resolve your request.

How we handle your data
The principles below cover every part of Retirify — web, iOS, Android, and exports.
Calculator & simulator data
Everything you type stays on-device using local storage or secure native preferences. We cannot see your plan unless you export it or email it to us.
Exports & shared files
PDF, CSV, and JSON exports are generated client-side. If you send them to Retirify, we store them for up to 30 days before secure deletion.
Server & function logs
Netlify edge logs store IP address, user agent, and error context for 30 days to detect abuse and keep infrastructure stable.
Native apps
The iOS and Android builds mirror the web experience. Sensitive operations happen locally, and crash logs are shared only if you send them to support.
Data retention
Support threads stay for up to 12 months, exports shared in tickets delete within 30 days, and server logs rotate inside Netlify’s standard 30-day window.
Vendors & processors
We limit third-party services to infrastructure and direct support tooling.

Hosting + serverless functions
Stores static assets, handles calculator API calls, and keeps short-lived logs (IP, user agent) for security. Netlify does not have access to calculator data or user plans.

Your choices & rights
Whether you are in the U.S., the EU/EEA, or elsewhere, we honor reasonable privacy requests within 30 days.
Control your data
- Use the calculator without creating an account or sharing personal identifiers.
- Request a copy or deletion of support conversations by emailing support@retirify.app from the same address.
- Opt out of marketing or waitlist emails via the unsubscribe link or by replying with “unsubscribe”.
- Appeal a data decision by replying to any privacy email thread and we will respond within 30 days.
Children & regulatory notices
Retirify is built for adults planning retirement. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and we will delete such data if we learn about it. If you believe a child under 16 has submitted data, please email us at support@retirify.app and we’ll delete it promptly.
For GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or other jurisdictional rights, email us from the address linked to your request. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 30 days.
If we ever make material changes to this policy, we will update the date above and highlight the summary inside the app and release notes.
